Daily Duties at Ahold Usa:

• Managed a team of associates to transition all of the Vendor Allowance Accounting from the Ahold Divisions and centralize into Ahold Financial Services (AFS) • Managed approximately 15-25 associates (temporary, hourly, and salaried) including resource allocation as well as mentoring, hiring, and handling disciplinary issues • Vendor Allowance Accounting (both p&l and balance sheet), greater than $2 billion per year • Managed all of the contracts associated with vendor allowances and the related p&l and balance sheet journal entries, account reconciliations, and the reporting of several enclosure, including a review and approval of various terms • Managed the Vendor Relations Department which oversees the Ahold Bill Payer program with a balance of approximately $40m per period • Conducted RFP (Request for Proposals) and completed analysis to select various vendors • Managed the Recovery Audit team with annual billings of approximately $40m per year • Implemented a recovery audit tool to decrease the days between the deal and the missed billing by an average of one year • Worked with many different teams including Merchandising, Marketing, Data Integrity, External Auditors, and the Functional Support teams
