Daily Duties at Sra, International :

Managed the scientific peer review process, for scientific proposals that were submitted for CDMRP’s Psychological Health/Traumatic Brain Injury, Defense Medical Research and Development, Bone Marrow Failure, Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Genetic Studies of Food Allergies, Autism and Gulf War Illness programs. Served as the lead project manager for the Secret classified review of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Bioterrorism Risk Assessment (BTRA) Report. • Presented SRA/CDMRP scientific peer review goals and program specific objectives to approximately 150 world-renowned scientist, doctors, nurses and extremely enthused consumers with an intimate relationship to such disease states as TBI, Gulf-War Illness, ALS and others • Project managed over $175,000,000 in DOD funded military medicine research • Provided pre and post award analysis of CDMRP’s prosthetics and orthotics portfolio in terms of maturity, scope of work, budget and results per quarterly reports to provide a roadmap of the direction of the research. The total funding of this portfolio was approximately $10,000,000 • Monitored financials of cost plus firm fixed fee (CPFF) and firm fixed price (FFP) and time and materials (T&M) program-specific contracts (i.e., budgets, invoices, request for subcontract agreements) for SRA totaling approximately $5,000,000
