• Conducted research on developing double haploid production lines for medical Cannabis • Conducted research on micro-propagation and germplasm preservation for medical Cannabis • Helped with scientific literature search, patent database searches for writing scientific reports pertaining to recommendations and suggestions for product development strategy and SOPs. • Managed a laboratory, improved and implemented SOPs, maintained laboratory instruments, ordered laboratory supplies • Monitored and ensured laboratory safety by making an inventory of hazardous chemicals and updating material safety data sheet (MSDS) in the laboratory and conducted safety trainings to all laboratory staff • Provided supervision and trainings for laboratory technicians and assistants in overall micro propagation associated with SOPs • Oversaw the laboratory day-to-day operations and quality control of the growth of plantlets in the tissue culture room • Established yearly production plan in coordination with sales and greenhouse supervisor • Provided support and service to other research teams • Conducted contract production of fruit trees for customers
