Daily Duties at Lockheed Martin:
Conduct technical analysis and evaluations of product implementations, modifications and enhancements, as a Site Manager, for the PTDS program per customer's specifications and implementations guidelines. Conduct technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors, team members and company representatives. Manage talent assessment and development of team members to promote the highest standards of PTDS operations. Serve as liaison to clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met. Primary customer contact for all on-site activities. Experience in troubleshooting technical problems and issues, and determining technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications from a management perspective. Recommends to company or customer representatives coordinative product solutions. • Site Manager on the Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS) program in Afghanistan. • Interface and coordinate with appropriate military personnel to ensure all elements of the PTDS statement of requirements are met. • Requires excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with management and customers, demonstrated ability to work with team leads with diverse backgrounds across multiple engineering perspectives. • Aviation management/experience on UAV's with a focus on lighter-than-air systems. • Provide direct training of installation and functionality of all electrical/avionics components and subsystems per engineering specifications, drawings and maintenance manuals to team personnel to support company training goals to maintain a safety conscience, quality oriented and skilled workforce. • Maintaining systems high availability and utilizing disaster recovery procedures in the event of site failure.
