Daily Duties at Puerto Rico Health Insurance Administration:

Responsible for the accounting function of the Administration, including, among others:  conducting monthly closings in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles,  preparing annual budgets and presenting them to the Board of Directors and to the Puerto Rico Senate and House of Representatives,  managing the treasury function, including negotiating line of credit facilities,  managing compliance with the lines of credit covenants,  managing state and federal funds,  assisting the Executive Director in negotiations with insurance companies, health providers and others,  working with other special projects.  responsible for the annual audit and Single Audit.
