Daily Duties at Baker Hughes, Inc:
I progressed through series of promotions to positions with increasing responsibilities for top 3 providers of oilfield products and services with approximately 55K employees worldwide. Earned promotion to leadership role in charge of manufacturing and assembly of high-pressure pumping equipment used in fracking and cementing of oil wells. I directed as many as 40 workers including Assembly Mechanics, Welders, and Tool Room Attendants. Additionally oversaw production of equipment by external partners as Outside Projects Supervisor, maintaining close communication with vendor’s engineers, management, and operations personnel to monitor quality and project status. I conducted annual performance reviews and recommended staff members for promotions/pay increases.
What they like about Baker Hughes, Inc:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment.
