Roadmap responsible for developing user stories, writing requirements, mockups, and prototypes for the SEM platform user experience (UX), SEM best practices, adcopy creation, landing page development, sales system integration, operational streamlining and training, technical vendor management, campaign structure & optimization and keyword taxonomy. Second responsibility is managing the Product Operations team of 6. We develop and maintain the keyword library for each type of 4600+ different types of advertisers. Develop new categories, optimize existing, write requirements for new tools and provide training to the digital operations team. My Role's Job Description Define – Write product requirements and clear, concise functional specifications for consumption by engineering. Illustrate – Create wireframes and mock-ups to provide immediate and intuitive clarity around requirements and specifications for both stakeholders and engineers. Understand – Research competitive offerings and solicit user feedback to better define processes and interfaces which support creation of online advertising campaigns. Strategize – Help set vision and strategic direction for platform features and products. Build – Engage directly with engineering to build metric-driven features and products that can be adjusted quickly based on market needs or new information. Lead and Evangelize – Drive complex decisions involving multiple stakeholders with potentially diverging opinions; communicate and sell strategy, direction, and decisions to leaders across the organization. Innovate – Find or generate the big ideas that keep the product relevant in a fast changing market. Candidate Requirements: 3 to 5+ years’ experience of shipping Internet products, preferably in the online advertising space, with a focus on search engine marketing. Strong technical background – comfortable working with engineering to discuss trade-off between different systems designs. Deep knowledge of major ad networks, such as Google AdWords and Bing Ads. Familiarity with industry leading SEM campaign management platforms, such as Kenshoo, SearchForce and Marin Software. Experience directly creating, managing and optimizing SEM or other online advertising campaigns a plus. Knowledge of the local advertising space a plus. Understanding of web development best practices and the product management lifecycle. Strong project management skills; organized, extremely high attention to detail, able to manage multiple time-sensitive projects Demonstrated success managing priorities and personalities in cross-functional teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines; ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Bias for action - track record of chunking large initiatives into smaller projects and shipping quickly. A bachelor’s degree in business management or a computer or engineering field required. MBA a plus.
