Daily Duties at American Cancer Society:
• Worked in conjunction with Development Department and State Vice President to develop, implement, and monitor the income development plan for KY to raise $12 million annually. • Grew income from $7 million to $12 million. • Communicated Division’s strategic income plan to the fundraising staff in KY using various mediums and technology resources. • Analyzed monthly income reports and provided feedback to Division and State Vice President. • Produced monthly income reports for tracking progress on all fundraising events. • Collaborated with departments to develop, implement and monitor fundraising plan. • Monitored cash management procedures, and donor development, acknowledgement, and cultivation in the state. • Worked closely with supervisors to identify training needs of income staff in the state. • Cultivated external relationships with employers and state associations to develop statewide or regional sponsorships and participation in income development activities in KY. • Traveled extensively around state to meet, train, monitor progress of fundraising staff and supervisors. • Supervised 20 Development Staff in the Region and the Regional Bookkeeper.
