Daily Duties at American Cancer Society:
• Collaborated with Division Corporate Development workgroup to ensure a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with priority corporations that maximize opportunities within Mid-South Division and ACS Nationwide. • Ensured effective strategies were utilized to increase and cross-sell Health Initiatives, Advocacy, Volunteer Development and Income Development opportunities from corporations. Income opportunities would include Philanthropic Major Gifts, Payroll deduction giving, Cause –Related Marketing, Sponsorship, Matching Gifts, and Special Events participation. • Grew income from $2.5 to $3.5 million. • Researched and analyzed workplace trends to identify best practices, develop needed resources and recommend goal setting and activity metrics. • Identified and ensured an effective approach was utilized to deliver and track ACS activities, progress, programs, and dollars raised in Mid-South Corporations. • Supervised Corporate Development staff and conducted annual goal setting and performance evaluation sessions. Coached and provided performance feedback on a regular, ongoing basis. • Served as resource for staff and leadership in the field for selling and implementing choice campaigns and for evaluating the success of those campaigns for the ACS.
