Daily Duties at American Cancer Society:
• Oversaw 5 markets in state and assisted State Vice President in leading the State’s staff, volunteers and community organizations to meet goals. • Provided input and made recommendations to the SVP and provided innovative ways to generate income and deliver the Mission. • Recruited, selected, hired, trained, coached, and developed the state’s Executive and Area Directors and community representatives. Ensured all personnel actions and transactions within the state comply with the stated policies and standards. • Supported the SVP to convene all staff disciplines operating in the State, and ensured that multiple disciplines within the State functioned as a cohesive and integrated team • Worked in the field with staff to foster internal and external relationships, provide feedback to directors for coaching the staff.
