Daily Duties at Corrienthian Colleges:

Partner with Admissions, Placement, Business Office, and Financial Aid to address problems and concerns related to student satisfaction and overall engagement. Implement programs and activities that support student success in accordance with company guidelines. Coordinate the implementation of programs of study, course descriptions, class schedules, syllabi, and the selection and timely acquisition of textbooks, related academic equipment, and supplies. Ensure adequate faculty, course offerings, and facilities to accommodate student needs. Schedule faculty in accordance with company, state, and accreditation standards. Assist in the development of annual budgets for the institution and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses to support sound fiscal management. Develop departmental goals and measurements to support efficient and effective departmental operations. Enforce and ensure faculty compliance with all policies and procedures of the institution, company, and state/federal rules and regulations. Manage and supervise faculty by overseeing activities such as scheduling classroom visitations for faculty evaluations, providing counseling, and coordinating teaching schedules. Manage the recruiting an onboarding process, including recruitment and selection of candidates, and new hire orientation counseling. Make recommendations for individual and team development based on performance reviews. Assess performance and quality of work, and support employee development for direct reports through feedback and coaching sessions, check-ins, and reviews. Manage student handoff from enrollment. Ensure satisfactory academic progress in the areas of attendance, grades, matriculation, and graduation. Ensure student satisfaction, retention plan implementation, overseeing student retention progress, meeting or exceeding retention rate for education department, and assisting retention effort for non-education department. Manage the Office of the Registrar and Student Services. Mentor faculty in better teaching and psychology skills to be an effective teacher. Ensure compliance with academic policy and procedure that is consistent with accreditation standards. Manage local articulation and partnership agreements. Attend professional development seminar and program activities as required by accreditation and regulatory agencies. Mentor student in social skills and professionalism in the medical field. Received outstanding survey from students, fellow instructors, and internship companies for high standard of teaching for the Medical Assistant Program. Received outstanding teacher award from Everest College Director of Education. Coordinated field trips for students to understand and appreciate the medical field. Training of new instructors and assisting others that require additional training in the classroom. Maintain above 90% of overall student satisfaction for instruction and class environment. Assisting in preparing student education package prior to the start of the course. Worked with students on a one-on-one basis to resolve educational and personal issues. Worked with students on an as needed basis (either prior to or after class session) to enable the students to achieve success. Attend and participate in all institution and company meetings, graduation, and social events. Identify and suggest solutions to issues within the college from an instructor, administrative and student perspective. Maintain values to do what is right, respect others, and perform with excellence.
