Conducted prompt and thorough investigations of insurance claims by interviewing the insureds, claimants, witnesses, consulting with law enforcement, inspecting property damage to determine the extent of insured liability. Determined claim compensability through fact evaluation, coverage analysis, interpretation of applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for the evaluation and settlement of first and third party automobile property damage and injury claims, personal property damage claims, severe bodily injury claims, residential and commercial property and casualty claims. Consulted/directed third-party administrators, accountants, architects, independent adjusters, general contractors, expert witnesses, structured settlement experts and defense counsel. Extensive experience in policy and coverage interpretation, fraud investigation, negotiation strategies, litigation management, mediation strategies, case investigation techniques.
