Daily Duties at Conservation Law Foundation; Nh Office:
Founded the NH office for Conservation Law Foundation (hired staff, negotiated contracts and leases, set agendas, raised the funds to support these efforts); managed a $1+ million dollar budget; contributed dynamic leadership skills toward managing daily operations and directing the team of legal staff and volunteers in litigation, advocacy, collaboration, and lobbying on various environmental, energy, and natural resources issues. Developed budgets, solicited donors, worked with foundations and raised funds to support advocacy initiatives. Negotiated contracts, leases and prepared nonprofit filings. Mentored law students, staff and volunteers engaged in advocacy. Strategically educated the staff, related associations and the public through outreach, media and education initiatives, including writing editorials, presentations and workshops. Advised Board of Directors on governance requirements, strategic agendas and current issues. Served as press spokesperson for the organization.
