• Demonstrated successful leadership, organizational, communication and implementation skills. Extensive banking experience in a variety of job functions focusing on internal and external business partnerships, customer focused and goal oriented. • Increased business by an average of 151% while in role • Business Development in huge DFW territory o Organized and targeted new business through cold calling, client referrals and relationship development o Developed new business for the multi branch area, comprising of 87 branch offices within DFW. o Grew number of participating companies from 43 to 867 while prospecting new opportunities and initiating referrals from existing client base. Averaged increase in growth annually of 164 companies per year which was the highest corporate average. o Managed customer account base of 867 companies o Attended annual employee benefit enrollment meetings providing educational seminars or selling W@W program • Strategically created sales action plans in conjunction with de novo center openings that capitalize on opportunities, competitor weaknesses, and supports overall market and corporate goals. Canvas market with financial center employees and Business Bankers prior to de novo opening to drive process and goals. Work closely with retail to have successful De novo openings. • Created and maintained a database of competitor programs which was used to create a feature and benefit competitive matrix that branch employees could use to better increase their ability to secure new clients. This program was so successful it was implemented in the other areas of Wachovia. • Developed and maintained networking relationships, specifically becoming active on the Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce Board as a Liaison between Chamber and Business community. This position helped me to be introduced to several prominent business leaders and to indirectly sell Wachovia in a Business to Business environment. • Developed company wide training material for Wachovia @ Work program and guidelines that provided training for new hire financial specialist and teller employees. Responsible for quarterly training at district manager meetings. • Inteacted effectively with finance and human resource contacts and c-level executives within a variety of different types and sizes of organizations.
