Daily Duties at Raytheon Systems Company:
• Personally responsible for the efficient operations and management of the GBS Satellite Broadcast Management (SBM) Center and Primary Injection Point (PIP) uplink sites in Norfolk Virginia and Sigonella Italy. Responsible for maintaining the operational status of the site and all supported systems. • Supervised and managed a large team of 23 site personnel including system engineers, information assurance managers and technicians, software programmers, operations technicians, and operations engineers, providing support/coverage 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. • Managed all budgets, issues, risks, schedules, and quality aspects of the organization. • Managed the largest, most complex, and most vital site on the GBS program. Ensured that vital GBS broadcast coverage is always available to the warfighter by being on-call at all times. • Managed team of five (5) Information Assurance personnel. Oversaw an Information Assurance Officer (IAO) and four Information Assurance Technicians (IATs).
