Daily Duties at Mt Medical, P.C.:
∙ Direct all aspects of daily practice operations for three facilities including coordinating all procedures, scheduling and delegating tasks to subordinate staff. ∙ Oversee patient flow including new intakes and current appointments. ∙ Verify billing coding/documentation, transmit to billing service, monitor cash flow and aging statement; establish procedures to monitor remittances; conduct follow-up of billing; arrange for additional information to facilitate payments. ∙ Post/process all accounts receivable transactions; monitor patient payment histories; negotiate paydown schedules for delinquent balances and monitor such accounts for adherence to schedules; document all activities and coordinate legal services; compile reports. ∙ Review A/P, verify invoices against orders, bills of lading, etc.; reconcile discrepancies with vendor; expedite payment. ∙ Liaise with NYC and regulatory authorities; participate in inspections concerning FDNY, JCAHO, OSHA, etc. ∙ Facilitate individual advancement within practice, encourage continuing education and training. ∙ Research/resolve client account problems or disputes. ∙ Negotiated contracts for practitioners’ admitting privileges with the local hospitals.
