Directed regional growth as owner of a private label portfolio including product assortment, promotional planning, product development and vendor negotiations. Negotiated vendor contracts by category including blood pressure machines, bladder control wear (device) and drug (pharma) manufacturers. Partner with diverse internal groups to integrate partnerships with multiple stakeholders, relationship networks and patient-customer knowledge. Collaborated with Global Sourcing Division to secure competitive costs and maximize margin, negotiating rates based on volume of business in different markets (pharma, device). Oversaw activities of one direct report and was in the process of training a new hire that was granted based on business volume. Led product training with Registered Pharmacists. • Identified cost-saving methodologies through collaboration with other business units to combine sales volume and obtain lower costs from manufacturers which drove increased profit margins. • Delivered highly technical presentations to internal upper management and retail client base to align product with current consumer demographics and industry trends. • Conduct in-depth market research to accurately forecast consumer and product development trends.
