Daily Duties at Age Concern Northern Ireland:
Created monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for three companies (Charitable organization, Elderly person’s residential home, and income generating insurance company). Prepared the annual budget, evaluated monthly income and expenditure variances, and created a new suite of management reports for financial analysis and forecasting of projects and financial statements – P+L, balance sheet and cashflow Managed the financial income and expenditure for more than 10 projects which were being run by the organization. This was heavily audited by the funding organization and therefore required a high level of attention to detail. Oversaw VAT inspection and Audit process Hired, trained, and managed a team of three finance staff Effectively maintained the general ledger and fixed asset system
