Daily Duties at Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging:

To work directly with the Radiologist and the COO to achieve the organizational goals set by the Chief Radiologist. Lead Technologist at Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging Center one of the largest Diagnostic imaging centers in Nevada. In this position I worked directly with the Radiologist to achieve the organizational goals set by the COO and Dr. Steinberg. I worked in the capacity of Supervisor/ Manager were I was highly valued to provide advice to other Managers and supervisors to oversee equipment records and installation, preventive maintenance, procurements and adequate patient work flow, quality care and professional service.  Highly skilled and proficient in assisting with radiological medical procedures. I have been in charge and lead a team of no less than five to efficiently assess patients and prepare them for specific radiologic examination. This is to include patient awareness and education of the examination and post surgical care and instruction. As a lead tech I was responsible for the proper training and evaluation of the new and junior technologist at the facility. These technologists are now proficient and confident in the proper strategic methods of surgical preparation and procedural protocols. This requires strict attention to detail to ensure sufficient patient charting and monitoring along with monitoring and logging of controlled substances.  My responsibilities included ensuring proper staffing and training, patient scheduling and exam flow, inventory and maintain equipment records and preventive maintenance scheduling and quality control and assurance.
