Daily Duties at Garon Pharmacy:

Major effort attempted to modernize practice setting. Responsibilities consisted of opening & preparing the Pharmacy for day-to-day operations. Major duties consisted primarily of filling and verifying prescriptions, handling patient, physician & supplier phone calls, managing inventory, review & revision of medication therapy pertaining to patient profile from initiation including discussion with the physician on appropriate medication changes due to allergies, co-morbidities, duplications as well as prior authorizations by submitting the proper paperwork to the insurance provider & patient's physician. Formed a Pharmacy/Physician relation by attending a Suboxone drug Representative presentation, listening to the needs of local practitioner and meeting their expectations as part of a addiction withdrawal program.
