Intake & processing prescriptions Verification, & changes Consultation with patients on medication reconciliation including: Drug-Drug interactions Drug food & over the counter interactions Proper way to take medications & when Patient education Consultation with physician including: Drug interactions Insurance issues Costs & concerns Interaction with insurance companies: Prior authorizations Patient drug formulary Drug cost Narcotic screening & monitoring including inventory reconciliation w/excell Drug inventory Technician workflow directive Point of sale Multi tasking of all of the above
