Ensure timely procurement and replenishment of material and equipment for the OR, maintain adequate level of supplies. Generate purchase orders through PeopleSoft software. Establish communication with vendors. Proactively review OR Schedule to foresee any demand of supplies and orders accordingly. Review records regarding orders and back orders to ensure timely delivery and to determine delays. Perform necessary follow-up regarding recall notices; maintaining paperwork that documents the recall process and tracking return shipments of recalled items.
