Worked with the lead Research Engineer to develop an autonomous motion observation system to facilitate patient gait analysis in physical therapy applications. • Participated in client meetings to identify the problem faced by physical therapists in the context of tracking and analyzing patient progress in physical rehabilitation. • Conducted extensive research for similar systems and existing patents that fit the need of the lab. • Developed motion analysis system use case and assisted in the overall project design. • Constructed the initial prototype of the system and programmed the PCI controller board in C++.
