Daily Duties at St. John's Macomb:
• Gaining significant exposure to utilizing CMS Xio 4.5 treatment planning system • Generating contours and fusions whilst utilizing Elekta Focal system and GE Advantage Workstation • Creating optimal prostate, breast, vaginal cylinder HDR brachytherapy treatment plans on Oncentra MasterPlan • Performing daily QA and executing prostate, breast, and vaginal cylinder HDR treatment delivery gaining competencies with the Nucletron MicroSelection HDR afterloader • Correctly recording information for accurate treatment delivery utilizing IMPAC Mosaiq and RadCalc. • Developing optimal 3D conformal, IMRT, LDR brachytherapy, and electron treatments • Actively performing initial and weekly chart checks and IMRT QA to ensure precision of radiation treatments whilst performing daily and monthly QA through the use of Elekta Precise linear accelerator Gaining familiarity with Eclipse 10.0 treatment planning system and RapidArc. • Supporting the administration of Iodine 131 for Therapy of Thyroid Disease
