Daily Duties at Compass Pointe Healthcare Systems:
Responsible for providing oversight of quality improvement activities that focus on wellness, clinical management, medication management, risk management, staff training, Education, staff performance and survey preparedness for 2 regions (12 communities). • Managed communities to ensure optimal performance in the community overseeing and assisting the Health and Wellness Director by supervising the work of the Wellness Department and educating the HWD on compliance, educating on P&P, putting systems into place and auditing for compliance. • Worked with employees and directing all aspects of the work of Resident Aides, Medication Techs while in the community; participating in the recruitment, hiring and training of permanent Health and Wellness Director for community in need; monitoring the Wellness Department, evaluating performance, providing feedback and assisting, coaching and effectively recommending changes based on such evaluations. • Site visits to communities to ensure that the community is using the Compass Pointe Policies and Procedures and ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements are being met. Maintaining State survey preparedness binders, education and trainings are up to date.
