Daily Duties at Fidelity:

Collaborated with the Finance and Business Portfolio Planning Office to create and implement IT program governance guidelines which increased the number of programs delivered on time and within budget. Governance Guidelines and Project Management Best Practices resulted in overall project productivity increase of ~30% from 2012 through 2013. Planning Lead for Chief Information Officer (CIO) responsible for providing monthly and quarterly executive level reporting related to IT development programs within the Pricing and Cash Management Teams. Owned the annual development of the multiyear plan and quarterly update for IT Scorecard illustrating progress against key business and IT initiatives, budget and human resource goals. Led executive leadership team in the successful development of the multiyear plan for the CIO that was fully in line with overall organizational goals. Bottom-line responsibility for the development of goals and metrics for the extended leadership team resulting in teams meeting the goal of stabilizing the production environment and increasing quality and throughput. Responsibilities also included developing and running the Project Management Office (PMO) supporting IT delivery, providing monthly project status reporting and project management governance guidelines. Defined best practices and established process to assist Product Leads and Project Managers in managing budget, resource capacity and overall project milestones. Worked with PMO leads to modify all project governance guidelines to enable business and IT groups to support organizational goal to convert over to Product Model and Agile methodology for IT development efforts. Conducted monthly Product review meetings with Product Line Managers to review resource planning, investment spend and project status to ensure teams remained within the approved budget. Managed a team of data analysts responsible for producing product line budget summaries, resource utilization statistics and metric data used for the monthly report out to senior management.
