Daily Duties at Sprint Nextel:
• As Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support end-to-end design, development, test and deployment of Radio Access Network (RAN) products used in markets throughout Sprint Nextel national network. • Evaluated/validated new BTS RAN Features to determine if the features work effectively before market deployment, technologies, including FDD-LTE, TDD-LTE, WiMAX, UMTS, CDMA, EV-DO, GSM, and iDEN. • Created a test scope and test plan and performed readiness test in both Network Readiness Test in Sprint 4G lab environment and First Integration Test (FIT) market for Samsung 4G TD-LTE. • Conducted a wide range of quality-control tests with full competency to ensure the RAN software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements by utilizing my knowledge of network architecture, network protocols, call processing and call flows using test tools such as QXDM,XCAL,XCAP ,iperf, TCP/UPD to collect and process log files. Reviewed and evaluated the log files to make sure the test results met the National RF Key Performance Indicator (KPI). • On-time delivered over 30 network readiness, Method of Procedure (MOP) validation, recommendations of new software releases assessment before nationwide network software deployment. • Delivered weekly status report on schedule, result, milestones and potential project stopper to multiple project managers and upper management using MS Excel, Words, Project, Power Point.
