Daily Duties at Pharmedica Communications, Llc:

• Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, responsible for not only the creation of promotional and educational materials in support of pharmaceutical products and recent clinical trial data, but also project management for all publication-based strategies • Other responsibilities included serving as a direct supervisor to a staff of 5 medical editors and writers; editing of all materials; providing a final signature on all documents prior to printing; serving on a Team responsible for developing a new product line; serving as the primary point of contract for distinguished faculty and the client on all issues related to content; coordinating contracts with vendors, including freelance writers and editors; partnering with the clinical trial organizations to expedite data release and reporting; among numerous other duties • Served as liaison between pharmaceutical clients, key opinion leaders, and the Center for Medical Knowledge; our own in-house accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) organization • Worked on both CME and promotional materials until the pharmaceutical companies required a firewall to separate these divisions
