Daily Duties at Bae Systems Information Technology:
Operations VP reporting to the President of BAE Systems IT in the Information and Electronics operating Group. Provide leadership for a $300M,1000 employee, IT services and cyber products business unit within the $1.3B Intelligence and Security Sector. Lead the post merger integration, affect portfolio shaping, lead operations improvement and create business growth of the unit. Develop and expand leadership pipeline through talent management efforts. Provides executive leadership to a geographically dispersed management team (US and Offshore) to include the execution and continuation of the existing business portfolio with full P/L responsibility. Responsibilities include: - Engages and influences DOD customers. - Identifies, develops, and supports the development of new business. - Expands leadership capabilities through talent management development programs. - Maintains a safe work environment and compliance with safety objectives and policies. - Provides strategic leadership to the management team of DOD GoCo sites - Leadership engagement as part of senior leadership team
