Daily Duties at Thermo Fisher Scientific:
Orchestrated international & domestic transactions, developed strong relationships with freight forwarders, customers, distributors, suppliers, brokers, government agencies, and sister companies. C-TPAT certification, established supply chain controls for standard and non-standard materials. Incorporated material process flow to reducing the cost associated with “required” security, and the site layout restrictions that made us ineligible for expedited customs clearance. Duties Taxes, liquidation, CF 28 &29, overage under, freight, surcharges, documentation submission, PO verification, delivery times, weights and dims. Lead project in harmonizing procedures for the Life Science Division sites in create a division level program. 3 sties standardized in 11 months Completion of 2009 required site training: Automated Export System (AES), NAFTA, Deemed Export, Red Flag, Classification, FEDEX system maintenance, & international documentation accuracy.
