Daily Duties at Cvs Health:
• Responsible for all aspect of pharmacy operations in the store. • Took care of customers and provided world-class customer service (via phone or in person) in a professional manner. • Filled, checked, dispensed and compounded prescriptions accurately. • Administered intramuscular and intra dermal immunization to patients. • Drove sales and profits in pharmacy and OTC. • Managed and supervised diverse groups of pharmacy staff in fulfilling more than 2500 prescriptions weekly. • Consulted with physicians and patients with regard to medication dosage, drug interactions, medical equipment, disease management and potential side effects of prescription and OTC medications. • Maintained accurate patient records, dosing information and directions for use; CII inventory by performing perpetual inventory every week. • Interacted with HMOs and other insurance providers concerning billing/reimbursement issues. • Kept up to date with current laws and developments within the pharmaceutical business.
