Daily Duties at Geo Engineers:

Conducts integrated Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) audits and inspects job sites throughout North America to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all regulations. Liaisons with clients, authorities and industry organizations so that the Company is informed and can plan for change. Effectively presents information and responds to questions or concerns from employees, managers, clients, regulatory agencies and the general public. Provides direction and advises on HSE policies and standards including but not limited to Drug & Alcohol, Operational policies, OGP, Client policies and Local & State governmental policies. Ensures all company HS&E documents are kept current and in compliance with client requirements and handles special projects as assigned. Developed and implemented Health, Safety & Environmental training programs to meet the annual and industry training requirements of SEPCO, NTCL and Geo Engineers/Geo LLC for both the Geophysical and Geotechnical projects in the Beaufort Sea, summer 2007. Encourages and promotes safety awareness throughout the company’s operations both on and offshore, including operations at remote locations. Participates in HSE accident/near miss investigations and reporting and provides recommendations and corrective actions. Responsible for the Quality Assurance/Quality Control of all JSA and JHA processes. Provides support to ensure that non-conformances, defects and deficiencies relating to HSE matters are reported and that corrective action is taken in a timely manner to prevent recurrence. Provided HSE support for Geo LLC and SEPCO during the Shallow Hazards Project in the Beaufort Sea from June to October 2007. Performed all inspections, audits and training onboard the Henry Christophersen for the Geophysical crew.
