*Write comment letters to accounting standard setters – FASB, IASB, EITF and SEC – and participate in industry group meetings to ensure that the Bank’s views are well represented in the standard setting process. * Correspond with senior management and regulators about the impact of the standards on the Bank * Draft internal accounting policies on topics such as financial instruments, derivatives/hedging, leases, restructuring/repositioning, impairment of fixed assets, internal-use software capitalization; maintain and revise Accounting Policy Manual as appropriate for compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements.
