Daily Duties at Rocky Brands, Inc.:
• Budget proposal and maintenance, $3.5 million • Contract negotiation with all sponsorship, musician, and other service providers • Worked with product development team to establish industry product opportunities and fashion trends • Established new brand direction/campaign for Durango that resulted in increased brand awareness year over year (aided and non-aided brand awareness) • Established relevant partnerships in music industry with artists, management, press • Partnered with appropriate organizations and non-competitive brands to maximize promotional reach • Oversaw design and creation of store marketing point of purchase materials • Responsible for naming, copy creation, legal confirmation around all products and new product launches • Directed all brand communication, campaigns and strategy including PR communications (through national/international agencies), web content, social media, advertising (print, online, out of home, radio, video) • Established and monitored all sponsorship opportunities and relationships • Visited NYC-based media to keep products in front of fashion editors and initiated blogger campaign • Oversaw international and national tradeshow participation/booth layout
