Daily Duties at Reiter Affiliated Companies:
• Participates in the leadership and management of the Information Technology division to help envision future IT directions and goals; makes effective and efficient use of resources; sets high, achievable aspirations for services and operations. • Hires, trains, and supervises the Network and Telecommunication Services staff; ensures that the staff is empowered to exercise initiative and work creatively, participate productively in inter-departmental and inter-divisional teams • Provide great customer service – provide leadership for difficult customer situations, serve as point of escalation as needed. • Lead the day-to-day activities of the NOC, Code Administration, CLEC Provisioning and Tier 2 staff. • Display passion, provide inspiration and articulate organization plans and progress. • Implemented the culture of “Avoid any point of failure for Network Services” • Strong commitment on Management control changes • Motivate, mentor, and guide team. • Set challenging goals, demonstrate persistence and motivation to meet goals. • Conduct regular 1-on-1 sessions with assigned staff, and provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring. • Assist in creating of vision and direction for the teams while promoting team-work. • Make employee recommendations and decisions (hiring, promotions, etc.) • Prepare annual employee reviews and recommend annual compensation adjustments. • Own CLEC COGs Budget and Planning Efforts. • Provide vision & leadership in development, documentation, and on-going execution of methods of operation and procedures. • Maintain internal and external group relationships to foster success for the business unit. • Implement the Hybrid Cloud solution for our prime Data Center. • Move all develop environment to the public cloud, reducing our hardware and manpower cost 12%. • Transforming the infrastructure department as Services provider (IaaS).
