Daily Duties at Covance Bioanalytical Services, Llc:
As senior scientist in Covance bioanalytical department, I served as the bioanalytical technical expert, utilizing all including but not limited to LC-MS/MS, Sciex API 3000/4000/5000, hydrophilic interaction (HILIC), direct injection in combination with LLE/SPE and 96-well automation, fast LC/MS, and on-line SPE extraction with turbulent flow chromatography, and automation for the quantitative bioanalysis. I provided the recommendation and technical guidance in resolving complex bioanalytical problems such as matrix suppression, carry-over, loss in instrument sensitivity, batch failure, method ruggedness, and incurred sample reanalysis (ISR). In the second function of my position as a study director, I managed studies in method development, method validation and clinical sample analysis, overseen laboratory activities and study conducts in compliance with GLPs, wrote study protocols and reports, communicated with the sponsors about the progress of the studies, data interpretation and study timelines, and performed laboratory procedures with LIMS (Nautilus) for sample tracking, method validation, sample analysis, and data transfer.
