Daily Duties at Accium Bio Sciences, Inc:
Brought with me over 10 years of experience in the quantification of drugs and metabolites when joining Accium, I was responsible for the delivery of all contract study projects as the first study director in Accium, conducted each study from the validation, mass balance, microdosing, and absolute bioavailability to metabolite profiling studies using LC + AMS technology. In the early stage of establishing the bioanalytical laboratory, I worked in every area in the company with a focus in the bioanalytical laboratory, including but not limited to study design, technical and study discussion with sponsor/client, sample receipt, method validation and sample analysis in the laboratory, trouble-shooting, scientific review of data and calculation, report preparation and approval, and quality assurance and sponsors audits. I established many laboratory standard procedures in support of the quantification of 14C-labeled compounds. I engaged the collaborators and technical experts of study sponsors in the discussion of challenges and promising of the LC + AMS technology to resolve complex study challenge. In the process of being recognized as the AMS expert in the field, I was promoted to be the director of Accium bioanalytical services, responsible for overseeing the on-going studies and their laboratory conducts and compliance with the regulatory requirement, technical discussion with sponsors/clients, and training of junior study director and laboratory analyst. Additional responsibilities included reporting to company management on the study progress and challenges and postmortem analysis, actively participating collaborative projects related to the extraction and purification of 14C-covalently binding DNA, working with business and market team to conceptualize the study quotes and budgets and the study timeline development, contributing to sponsors regulatory inspection and study audits, and coordinating the instrument/equipment maintenance and calibration.
What they like about Accium Bio Sciences, Inc:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
