Daily Duties at Rex/Unc Hospital:

Hemodynamic monitoring, ACLS certified, NIH stroke certified, BLS. I am experienced in peritoneal dialysis, cardiac monitoring, acute care, OR direct recovery and sedation for invasive bedside procedures (endoscopic, percutaneous tracheostomy and peg insertions, cranial drains for monitoring of ICP, etc.), and systemic assessments for prevention or stabilization of critically ill patients, medical and surgical, with advanced neurological assessment and interventional experience. Compliance Education is my strength. Multidisciplinary coordination for intensive care patients, Palliative care and education for Patients and their families. I am a member of the unit counsel and the critical care (M/SICU, CRTU and CCU) Representative on the Nursing Congress Board, most recently co-chair elect. I was sent to the NTI Critical Care Conference in Orlando Florida in 2012, expanding my knowledge of Gold Standards in Critical care protocols and patient management.
