Daily Duties at St Anns Hospital :

was like a primary physician incharge of the assigned ward. Most of the patients at the clinic were for prescription refills and minor chronic problems. House officer was responsible for getting the detailed history of the patient and family, conduct physical exam , write the admission notes, order and do some labs if required, prescribe medication and do some minor procedures like IV line, bladder catheterization, NG tube placement, suture minor wounds, lumbar puncture when needed. On discharge write discharge summary, with prescription and follow up.
