Daily Duties at Kemper Insurance Companies:
• Acquisition and disposition of corporate real estate assets and operational responsibility for 1.3M square feet of owned office facilities including headquarter campuses in Long Grove, Illinois and Plantation, Florida. • Field real estate operations consisting of 2M square feet of leased space in 140 locations with annual rental of $47M. • Facilities and contract management for owned locations including engineering, maintenance, janitorial, security and landscaping. • Facilities planning & design, corporate travel & employee relocation departments. • Print/photocopy center, mail services, corporate records/storage, two full service cafeterias, employee convenience store, on-site daycare and fitness center. • Staff (corporate & contracted) of nearly 200. • Responsible for capital budget and annual lease management for the exclusive Kemper Lakes Golf Course.
