Daily Duties at Golf Digest Magazine:

• Created custom marketing proposals for a team of sales executives to assist them in their efforts to drive ad pages to the magazine. Had sole discretion as to the utilization of the client's added value budget to develop and offer incentives in order to enhance the customer's buy • Managed the process of the magazine’s special "advertorial" sections (written pieces accompanied by an ad). Coordinated the writers, art department, sales force and the client to bring the project to completion • Participated as a member of Social Media team that developed ideas on how to build and grow our fan base on various social media networks • Developed, managed and grew a Twitter account that is still used as a promotional tool for various advertisers

What they like about Golf Digest Magazine:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
