Daily Duties at Alternative Petroleum Technologies:
• Develop economical recipe and method to recycle used major catalyst for commercial application to achieve at least 97% efficiency of lab scale equipment • Remove sulfur from different types of tire oil to less than 2,000 ppm for various China waste tire oil (12,000-18,000 ppm) and Australia waste tire oil (8,000 – 14,000 ppm) that allow renewable energy source for burning • Desulfurize different types of kerosene to less than 15 ppm, for home use, to meet possible future EPA regulation for 1-K USA (200-350 ppm), 2-K USA (2,000-3,000 ppm), and Australia kerosene blue dyed (100-500 ppm) • Research and identify new desulfurization method for heavy and bunker oil to meet new IMO regulation (5,000 ppm) including Mexico Heavy Oil (28,000 ppm) and Bunker Oil (15,000-35,000 ppm) • Conducted continuous process review to identify bottlenecks and to recommend improvements for current or counter current continuous CSTR design • Pilot plant operations for first of a kind PID plant design
