Daily Duties at Jp Morgan Chase:
• Engineer, review, and approve new engineering designs prior to implementation, and interact with engineering and support teams during project turnover to ensure post-completion architectural and standards compliance. • Provide input to technology (Infrastructure Operations Center) operations staff, business units, and third-party vendors as necessary to help establish and defend the positions of the Architecture on various business initiatives. • Be apprised of and recommend the implementation of new network technologies to improve stability, supportability, and performance within the network. • Interact with developers and implementers of new applications to better understand enterprise impact of new traffic streams. Continually evaluate current state of network to identify ways to improve service to our users and customers. • Provide 5th level escalation support in Severity 1 networking problems on trading floors and for the enterprise worldwide.
