Daily Duties at Bell Helicopter Textron:

Inspected by visual examination or by precision measurement with instruments, gages, patterns, designs, etc., assembly of transmissions, gear boxes and other dynamic components for finishes, precision mating or fitting, sizes, dimensions, layouts, locations and quality of workmanship. Operates special testing instruments and equipment as required. Work from detailed blueprints, diagrams, engineering acceptance specs, etc. to obtain proper specification. Evaluate the condition of components during overhaul and to qualify after acceptance testing. Approves acceptable work and or rejects all work which fails to meet required standards and recommends corrective action to prevent recurrence. Ability to read Blue prints and schematics with a highly technical nature; Demonstrated ability to use different kinds of precision measuring instruments, scale, digital calipers, bore scope, electronic microscope, Eddy current, Ball gauges, and micrometers; Demonstrated ability to work with limited Supervision; Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment; Demonstrated ability to make good decisions under pressure while under contract deadlines and ability to complete daily work assignments in a timely manner; Demonstrated ability to learn new computer systems and functions; Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and company guide lines related to work function and safety.
