Daily Duties at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess:
• Leading the development and implementation of the IT infrastructure to support two separate entities housed at primary facility. • Coordinating network initiatives with US and Japanese IT leaders in coordination with local management; Network maintenance including NAS, firewall, backup, servers and documentation for all companies relying on AKB network infrastructure. • End-user support, desktop/laptop PC application troubleshooting and MS-NAV support. • Strategic development and Administration of the local server and network environment: management, maintenance, backups, security, user training, mobile phones, VOIP phone system, etc. • Coordination of local network with affiliate and parent companies and ensuring compliance with parent company IT rules. • End user help-desk support & troubleshooting for ~70 employees. • New employee setup & training for all required systems. • Product/Project support for Automation team and laboratory.
