Daily Duties at Colsa Corporation:
IT Project Manager, Office of Federal Detention Trustee (OFDT). Provided full-time project and systems engineering management assistant for the Information Technology Division. Worked as an integrated team member of OFDT on the COLSA team. Worked on tasks as assigned by the Chief, Information Technology officer and supported the Deputy CIO and IT program manager as necessary. Responsible primarily for supporting IT Application Development, management of subcontractor teams and in-house development teams. Designed and developed the OFDT IT Program Management Office (PMO) to support meeting OFDT business goals and to include CMMI certification in the future.. Assisted with the development of IT project plans that accurately plan for tasks, assigned resources, activity sequences and dependencies, personnel responsibilities, communication, costs over time, integration considerations, communications, and risks. Provided ongoing monitoring and control of projects after execution. Participated in contractual close-out, lessons-learned, data collection and official handoffs activities.
