Responsibilities • Prepared the Test Plans, Test cases and Test Scripts from the requirements and from Use cases • Discussed Test requirements, Test Plans, Test cases in Team walk-through meetings • Worked with the offshore team and off-site teams on work assignment as per the Project Plan. • Monitor Project scope and requirement changes, assess the impact on the test management deliverables and adjust the Project Plan to reflect the changes. • Communicate testing status, risk and issues to project managers and business stakeholders. • Performed Functional testing to validate the Routing of data between users • Executed test scripts in different environments (QA & UAT). • Involved in System/Integration Testing, End-to-End Testing and Regression Testing using QTP • Performed Regression testing as and when required to ensure the stability of the application • Worked with defect life cycle using Quality Center • Involved in creating Library functions • Created the Test Data to parameterize the scripts using Data Driven Testing • Implemented Checkpoints and Output value in QTP scripts • Created Traceability Matrix for requirements coverage • Performed testing for various Application Interfaces and validated the reports from third party vendors • Performed Down Stream Testing to validate that the data is flowing to other systems as required • Extensively involved in Data imports and exports across databases and FTP files • Validated all Data extractions, Data transformations and Data Integrity process • Developing and executing SQL scripts for validating Business Rules and verifying accuracy of data • Worked with development team on testing defects.
