Daily Duties at Cno Financial:

• Attended all Business and Technical requirements walkthrough meetings and reviewed the Business requirements documents for sign-off from test team • Estimated testing time/hours resource requirement for execution of the Sprint • Analyzed the functional requirements to determine scope of testing and test techniques that should be involved. • Peer-reviewed the test plans prepared by other QA team members • Worked closely with Developers and Product owners to debug/troubleshoot issues so that stories can be closed/Accepted within the sprint timeline. • Developed Test scripts on HP Quality Center 11. • Used Quality Center for tracking & opening Bug records and Defect records. • Created soapUI projects using WSDL and tested webservices. • Performed XML validation of data. • Tested OneSource mobile applications using SMPP and MMS protocols,SMS and SMSC. • Worked with development team on testing defects. • Involved in testing the functionality and usability of the system for end user perspective. • Participated in various Agile planning, grooming, stand-up, demo and retrospective meetings throughout the project from Sprint 0 to the hardening and code promotion. • Groomed prior to the start of the Sprints to understand, plan and create test cases, environmental configuration and data setup. • Perform Back-End database testing by create, update and Insert data on Oracle database. • Performed Regression testing as and when required to ensure the stability of the application • Maintained the test execution results and review reports. • Strong ability in communicating with various Project Development Teams, able to prioritize workload and able to work concurrently on multiple projects. • Experience in off-shore/on-shore Development projects and leading off-shore team and junior testers. • Participated in KT sessions to other QA team members and peers. • Updated management about the test progress on a daily and weekly basis with status reports and attended project meetings (QA status). • Executed test scripts in SIT and UAT Environment
