Daily Duties at Netsmart Technologies:
I was a Senior Software Developer with Netsmart on the Patient Care Management System development team for many years. We developed software solutions for state and local health departments in health, billing and financial applications. I managed our company's Health Information System (HIS) and Health Statistics Information System (HSIS) and their interfaces with the HIS/HSIS Systems for the state of NC for over ten years. I was personally responsible for the design, development, installation and support of these systems. Conducted alpha and beta testing for new releases and updates to products. Work closely with clients and state contacts in development and maintenance of products. Perform state and federal mandated updates and maintenance for Medicaid and Medicare billing 837 and 835. Integral part of our company's ICD-10 conversion. Perform new development and maintenance to our Patient Care Management System which included a comprehensive array of healthcare applications for state and local health departments.
