Recommended, developed & issued RFP, and implemented the privatization of the City’s Workers’ Compensation administration, resulting in at least $20 million in cost savings over a five-year period as well as significant service improvements. Recommended, developed & issued RFP, and implemented the privatization of the City’s Occupational Health Clinic Services with conservative estimates of financial benefits totaling at least $3.75 million over the five years from FY03 through FY07. The contract arrangement provides higher quality service than the City through its in-house clinic operation. Researched and implemented change in City’s Health Insurance Benefit Program. Changes reduced medical and prescription drug costs by an estimated $4.1 million.
